This is How the Future Takes Shape
The elementary and middle school years are some of the most critical years in a child’s development. That’s when they begin to discover who they are, what they enjoy, what excites and interests them and who they might become. It’s when they begin to develop confidence and self-esteem, social-emotional awareness, leadership abilities, creativity and curiosity, problem-solving and teamwork skills. It’s when they begin to realize that their dreams really do matter – and can come true.
Community Partners is committed to helping young people dream bigger, explore more and see new possibilities for their future. The donor contributions we receive fund programs and activities across a wide range of needs and interests.
Full STEAM Ahead
Today’s students are growing up in a world shaped by technology, artificial intelligence, engineering, healthcare innovation, environmental science and digital creativity. Through our STEM and STEAM initiatives, Community Partners enables students to participate in engaging, hands-on experiences that encourage their creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and discovery. Our out-of-school activities during the academic year and camp opportunities over the summer break help students connect learning to real-world opportunities while building confidence in their own abilities.
Contributions to Community Partners help support:
- Robotics kits and STEM materials
- Coding and technology workshops
- Arts-integrated learning experiences
- STEM and STEAM summer camps
- Student scholarships
- Career exploration opportunities
- Mentorship and leadership programs

One Step Forward Leads to Another … and Another
Community Partners’ cradle-to-career model for supportive programming provides a progressive continuum of support in which benefits realized at, say, the elementary school level serve as the foundation for further development in middle school, middle school growth leads to high school success and so on.
We invite you to join us in this effort with your tax-deductible contribution to the Community Partners 2026 Inspire fundraising campaign. The campaign will culminate with our Inspire Celebration on Oct. 15, 2026, at the Silver Spring headquarters of the Housing Opportunities Commission.
