Welcome, and thank you for visiting the Community Partners webpage. Now in it's thirteenth year of operation, Community Partners is poised for aother year of charitable support, hope and inspiration for low-income families in Montgomery County, MD. In 2012, we reached for new heights by adding two new programs; one of which, houses foster care children and another that builds financial assets for prospective low-income homebuyers and students. We are completely staffed and managed by volunteers, last year Community Partners' volunteers logged over 19,000 hours of time and service.

Support and donations from concerned citizens like YOU allow us to help hundreds of families each year.

2012 ANNUAL REPORT

The Community Investment Tax Credits (CITC) program of the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development has awarded Community Partners tax credits in 2012 in support of our new program - Saving for a Better Tomorrow Financial Literacy Program.

Each year a panel of 100 expert reviewers from area foundations, corporate giving programs, and peer non-profit organizations evaluate nearly 250 applications; Community Partners was one of 70 outstanding nonprofits featured in 2010-11.

NEWSLETTER: Winter, 2012 Edition -- Summer, 2012 Edition

The Housing Opportunities Community Partners, Inc. (Community Partners) helps low-income families, living in Montgomery County's subsidized housing, to improve their quality of life, equips them to reach a higher level of self-sufficiency and provides them the resources needed to break out of the cycle of poverty.

Our programs help homeless families obtain permanent housing, assist low-income working families with purchasing refurbished vehicles, teach unemployed HOC residents the necessary skills for success in the job market and better prepare students for success in the classroom.

Through our website, we hope to provide potential volunteers and donors with information about how they can support these much needed programs.
